We are more than just a service provider; we are a vital statewide partnership comprising government entities, educational institutions, and community organizations. As a cornerstone of the American Job Center Network, WorkSource epitomizes the essence of a "one-stop" solution, seamlessly integrating employment services, skills training, and community support under one roof. 

WorkSource is mandated by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Signed into law on July 22, 2014, WIOA is landmark legislation designed to strengthen and improve our nation's public workforce system, helping those with significant barriers to employment into high-quality jobs and careers, along with helping employers hire and retain skilled workers.

In our region, WorkSource services use a braided funding approach, with both public and private grants combining to facilitate a flexible, regional system with a focus on community-driven services tailored for the regional economy.

Unemployment benefits are managed by the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD) and are not a part of WorkSource. However, we are happy to help answer questions and connect you to the application process.
